I first started being active in a sport at the age of 11. Since the age of 11 I have been into rugby playing for my local town called Taunton, this ended at 16 when my coach moved to New Zealand. During those years I played prop and hooker, also achieving two endeavour trophy's. I also played rugby for my secondary school rugby team.
From the age of 14 I had my first off-road motorbike, this was a hobby with my brother bringing use closer whilst enjoying ourselves. Since then I have had many motorbikes up to the age of 20. Completing my motorbike test at 17.
When moving to college at the age of 16, I finished playing rugby for any team and signed up to a gym. From the age of 16 I went to the gym thinking I was doing everything great but I really was not. From 18 I started my own gym routines, finding having a routine helped me with my workouts and made me progress. In 2011 I went to a local personal trainer who taught me my first knowledge of nutrition having a very successful month sticking to a diet I saw results that I wanted for my holiday, I then finished those sessions and went back to training myself.
This is when my training got serious as I was able to start putting plans together and followed routines to make progress, I did make a good amount of progress with weights but I have never been able to plan diets with any goals.
When I was 19 my training come to a stop for a few months due to a broken ulnar, I kept my cardio up but that was about all.
Since recovering I have made my first big goal for bodybuilding which is to complete a contest. This is great to have a aim within bodybuilding as I have always struggled with goals for myself.
As I have never completed a contest, I have a online trainer, who so far has been great, helpful and knows exactly what to do. So my contest prep is looking good, I am hoping to learn from my trainer and prep to set me up for future contests.
Since a young age I have never known what career to take. Completing my A levels, I then went into full time work in a restaurant. This lasted for two years where I learnt all roles within the company, knowing this was not the career I wanted I knew that I needed to change it soon. It was then my decision to apply to university's for a Nutritionist degree, I am currently in my first year at St Mary's Twickenham
